Razorback

Here is a cake picture that I forgot to post. This was for a friends birthday who is HUGE razorback fan. We had actually attended the State/Arkansas game with them the week before. She thought this razorback was too beautiful to cut! :)

Fun Birthday Cake

This is a cake for a neighbor who has twin boys, Max and Sam, who are turning one! We have 5 sets of twins in our small neighborhood! Laura had given me a napkin to match the colors and a picture of a cake she had seen online. It was so fun to do. I used fondant for the curls and candy melts for the 1's. Hope they enjoy!

Peace Out!

Here is a cake that I was asked to do for a co-worker of Warren's. The birthday girl wanted a tie-dye cake with a peace sign! Just received a note from her that she loved it! It was fun doing as I hadn't done anything like this before.

My 1st Wedding Reception

Here are a few pictures from my first try at doing the cakes for a wedding reception. The groom wanted a red velvet cake with choc buttercream icing and with the Georgia logo. The bride wasn't real picky about what she wanted and I suggested the cupcake idea and she went for it. (They were married at a small ceremony at Disney a week and a half before this reception) The colors for the wedding were light purple so I went with that theme for the cupcakes. I made the boxes in colors that coordinated as a way to display some of the cupcakes and her topper. We used the E from their rice krispy treat cake that they had for their 1st reception at Disney. (How cool is that?) I was pleased with how it turned out and now feel more comfortable about taking something like this on in the future! Thanks Meredith and The Smith Family for the opportunity!!
