Mad Hatter Tea Party

This was my first Gluten Free cake. Reviews on the taste were very very good. It does cost more to make this type of cake. It is more like a pound cake type consistency. This was also my first uneven cake. It was lots of fun to do!

Baby Shower

This was matched to the invitation for a baby shower.

Toy Story

This was made for a neighbor's son who was having a Toy Story birthday. His dad used PhotoShop to make this logo that I could copy onto the cake. When I delivered it Ethan said - Toy Story!

These were done for a personal shower for Meredith Smith. She is a friend of mine and I'm so happy that she has found the love of her life! I'm also doing her reception when she arrives back home from a destination wedding at Disney! I'm doing a Georgia cake for the groom and then a cupcake tower with small tiered cake on top for the bride. This will be my first wedding reception and I appreciate the Smith's using me for this!

Pumpkin and Spiders

This was for a Halloween birthday party for a friend of Will and Emma's. I used two bowls to make the pumpkin and the stem is a small cup of Emma's that I covered in icing. The cupcakes were too cute. You take black licorice laces and cut them into small pieces and insert into the icing spider body. The pumpkin sliced great for the party - I wondered how it would!

Lego Cookies

Lego Cookies were ordered by Jen - 3rd order in a few months. :) Her son is an avid fan and wanted something a bit unique to take to his class. I loved how they turned out. Jennifer bought cool stickers to go on these as well and she ordered a small lego cake to go with it! I have another Lego order now for Dec. 2nd!

Twin Cakes

This was done for a neighbor who has twin boys. She said that she wanted the cakes the same because they are in that stage where they want exactly what the other one has! I remember that well. We used to buy two of the same thing but in different colors - without fail each of them would want the color the other had. We started buying identical things and told people to do the same. Thankfully they are past this stage and Emma's not wanting Will's sword or Will's not wanting to dress up in princess clothes! HA!

Think Chess!

This is a cake that I made for a son of a former colleague of mine. Thanks Jennifer for the order! Kieran is an avid chess player and so we did a small smash cake for the family to have and then 5 dozen cookies for his class and his chess club team! I can't take credit for the cute stickers that Jen ordered to put on them! What a great touch!

Football Cookies

Here are some football cookies that were ordered for Jackson Jacobs. He turns 10 and he has his first football practice this evening so they wanted to celebrate with the team. These are sugar cookies iced with royal icing and then packaged individually. It gave me the football fever! Can't wait until September!

Kimberly Clark Oasis Cake

This was a cake that was ordered by Warren's work. They were celebrating the end to their old computer system(OASIS). He brought home a few screen shots of the system and I just copied a few of the lines. This was fun to do since it was so unique. I can't wait to hear what they all think!

Pink and Green

This was my second cake for Lauren. She lives in our neighborhood and I had done her older daughter's cake in June. I received two calls after that cake for orders in August. Lauren also called me back to order Olivia's 1st birthday cake. We went with simple. The 1 is an iced sugar cookie and she also has her smash cake ready! I was very pleased with how it turned out.

Minnie Mouse

Minnie Mouse Cake for 2 year old neighbor! As you can probably see, the neighborhood itself could keep me busy. Lots of kids and apparently the taste of the cakes is a big hit too!

Gerber Daisy Cupcakes

My cousin ordered these for a shower she was throwing and her theme was red, orange and yellow gerbers so I tried out these and was very happy with how they turned out. I did candy molds for the gerbers and just added them on top of the icing. Taste better than fondant! ;) I also did some mini cupcakes with the couples initial in choc. I think it will make for a nice presentation!

Baby Shower Cake

Here is another one I had for today - our neighbor was hosting a baby shower and asked me to do the cake. I was originally trying to match the bedding but I ran into issues with that. Just wasn't going well so Angela graciously agreed to another design I was more comfortable with. Here is how it turned out.

Roll Tide!

Here is a birthday cake I did for Scott Cloud's birthday. They are our neighbors and Stacey wanted an Alabama themed cake. I had a football cake mold that I hadn't tried and she agreed to that idea. I thought it turned out well!

I wrote Happy Birthday on the side of the football that you can't quite see in this picture.

Sam's Shower Cake - Welcome Amos!

This was a cake that I did for a shower today of one of our good friends from Roswell church. Sam and Clay are a young couple and Amos will be their first son! The hostess was using two different plates so I combined them to make the cake. Hope they like it!

Here is my most recent cake. Scooby, Scooby Doo. They are having a small family party so this is my smallest cake. Presented a bit of a challenge in getting it all on there!

Happy Mother's Day

This was a cake for a co-worker of Warren's. He is taking this cake and a dozen cupcakes to the beach where his family is gathering for vacation. Hope they like the cake as much as Matthew does! Have fun!

Spiderman

This was my first character cake and I was pretty pleased with how it turned out! I hope Trey likes it...Will definitely did! :)

Tennessee Cake

It's been a while since I posted any cakes. I've been doing them but I am back to my old habit of not taking pictures! Here is one that I did for my neighbor's husband. He is a Tennessee fan...took alot for me to decorate that cake with orange but anything for a customer! :) He asked for choc/choc icing. Hope they like it!

Word of mouth is starting to travel and I'm getting more calls and more future orders! Woo-hoo!

Stella & Dot

This was a cake that I did for a neighbor's jewelry launch party! When I received the invite I offered to provide the goodies to advertise a little bit as well. I was able to use a logo that she sent me and I was pleased with how it turned out. I also made some spring flower cookies that turned out cute but I forgot to take a picture! UGH!

Here are some mini cupcakes and brownies that I'm making for an event Alicia Chaney is hosting at her house for some of us mom's who have our own businesses. Should be fun and will be another way to get the word out about what I'm doing!

I loved the colors on this cake and it was a big hit. I made a smash cake for her as well.
